Artistic Statement

We firmly believe that artistry should not be limited by age, and that the perspective of seniors, whose considerable life experience gives them a distinct view of the world, is worthy of expression and sharing. The use of specifically visual art, such as photography, allows seniors whose first language is not English to break through the language barrier and express themselves visually. Wisdom into Art helps cultivate for Latin American seniors a voice that can be understood by anyone, because photography and visual art are universal languages.
